Crafts 4 Eternity Recipe Challenge recipe #32

Hi Everyone
Right now I'm in Florida at Disney with my son Ryan, Tonight my Hubby comes in to spend a long weekend with us and to be with me for Mothers Day On sunday:-)
It's also almost that time to think about my very best friend Juli who we lost almost three years ago at this time, she made it to her may 3rd birthday, and to Mothers Day for her grown children..ahh a mothers love to hang on and fight:-) I miss having our daily talks and the once in a lifetime friendship:-) so this card is in honor of Juli who started me on this road with paper crafting:-) xoxo
My card as you can see is made with DP from the DCWV flower shower pad that i am obsessed with :-) flowers are a combo of Magnolia for the cream one and Prima for the whites, I used my MS punch for the leaves, the little round discs are wooden form my stash, the image is a new Elizabeth Bell image, colored with Copics, and the quote is one I did on the pc from a quote I found from Walt Disney!
This week at Crafts 4 Eternity's challenge we were asked to use the sketch above with this recipe:
The Sketch
Use a quote
add something wooden peg/shape etc
I hope you are all having a wonderful Friday and weekend:-) I will update on Disney when I can:-)

crafts 4 Eternity Recipe Challenge recipe #31

Here is the sketch for this week and here is what is needed to add to it for the challenge at C4E This week
I am a day late in posting ...I've been trying to get packed for our trip the end of this coming week to walt Disney World for Mothers's day:-)
To be in with a chance of winning you must include All of the ingredients of this weeks recipe.
RECIPE
1. Use the sketch
2. Use a bear theme, image, or embellishment
3. Use some ribbon

I Needed to make a baby card for someone special so I used a Stamps by Judith bear, and balloons, I used Bazzill CS and a piece of DP from DCWV stack called Flower Shower. Colored my bear with Copics, the balloons were stamped, colored and cut out, I added a bit of ultra fine glitter to them, and added diamond glaze to give a shiny effect! I started with the largest balloon and added pop dots to it, then the smaller balloons I added a few extra pop dots to make them all look like they were different thicknesses away from one another:-) I wanted that 3-D effect going and added black string to the ends for the full effect of the balloons flying:-) I added a sentiment from a G studio small set and used my SU punches for the half circles ...ribbon was pieces from rolls I've had and that's about it.
I hope you like it, I had fun with the layering.
I hope everyone has a great weekend
Hugs
Michele
