Wacky Weather-- R #53 Crafts 4 Eternity

Hi Everyone! It's Friday, YAY! I'ts been a week here with rain on and off and humidity, which doesn't make working with the copics and the paper a great experience especially with the paper ! I had bleed problems and ended up doing my Image 3 or 4 times and finally just decided that there might not be much hope in getting a "bleed free" image with the paper:-(
The Challenge this week for Crafts 4 Eternity is :
1. The sketch below
2. an image with snow, rain, sun in it
This weeks prize is a GDT spot for November:-) so why not have a try at the challenge.
Please also go see the wonderful cards the rest of the DT came up with:-)
Supplies used:
I used my Cricut Imagine for all the design papers,
Cardstock SU and Bazzill
Image: Mo Manning A Duck Day
Ribbon from my pile of ribbon. (local craft store)
Copic markers for coloring the image.
Have a wonderful weekend friends:-)

Sundays with Crissy, Sparkle and Shine GDT card:-)

Happy Sunday all:-)
I'm very excited to have been asked by Crissy Armstrong ,to stay a bit longer with her "Sundays with Crissy Challenge Team" What a wonerful and Talented team they are!
It's Sunday and the beginning of september which means it's time for a new challenge from Sunday's with Crissy! The prize this week is being offered by LSL diversified. I used Crissy's Say a Prayer Digital image from here, Since the Challenge is sparkle & shine I decided to add just a pop of glitter paper in a dark pink to accent her dress, I used DP from the Memory Box- Gossame collection I just received before I left for vacation, which I think was a perfect choice with this cutie. I used Bazzill & PTI cardstock for the matting, and took clear flat backed Rhinestones and colored them with my Copic marker to give them the pink coloring. I added some ultra fine glitter to her wings for sparkle, and Copics were used to color my image. so please go over to Crissy's Sundays with Crissy blog to read about the challenge and how to enter in it, we're all having lots of fun:-)

Recipe #49 Crafts 4 Eternity

I'm heading down to the last few days away on vacation with my husband and son, and have had a wonderful time:-) we leave sunday night to go home and I'm hoping all will be back to normal with the airports since Hurricane Earl is heading towards Long Island, I am also really worried about my family and friends for the next two days.
On to my card for the challenge this week at Crafts 4 Eternity:
This weeks prize is a guest design team spot for the month of October:-)
Here is the recipe:
1. use the sketch above
2. use your favorite fairy/Angel
I added my favorite colors too going with pink & lime green:-) the image is a Tiddly Inks digi that is another fairy from the collection:-) I kept it more simple then I would normally, I matted using bazzill CS and Dt scraps I had been saving. I colored my cutie with Copics, added spica pens on stars and wings.
Have a great weekend everyone and thank you for coming to visit me here:-)
I'm getting ready to celebrate my birthday here with my husband and son at the mouse house in Disney, and when I get back I think that I will be doing blog candy so watch for that post:-) I want to make my 48th start out with a bang:-)
Hugs
Michele
