Dt Monday with Mr Cricut Crazy

Hi all
It's Monday and my my groups turn to make something showcasing Mr Cricut Crazys stamp set "Trees, Trees" . I used the sentiment "You're Tree-Mendous! I thought it would be perfect with my Cricut owl from Hoot N Holler Lite cartridge!

I worked with the Imagine today and it was kinda grumpy with it's cutting of the image, so I added a bit of coppice color as a distress ink around the edges:-) I printed the Design paper on the Imagine using Audrey and Elise cartridges for the Imagine:-)
Here is Tanners stamp set Trees, Trees That I used the sentiment from. Please go see my fellow design team members creations for this week I've listed their blogs below here, Just click on their blog name and it will take you to their blog:

I am also adding this to House Of Gilly Challenge which is add some Sparkle..and I did to the sand:-) hehe
My cutie is from Mo Mannings New Digital image called Maggie. Can you see my sand sparkle?? I used a tiny bit of MS crystal glitter I have had forever here and thought it was perfect for the suns reflection off my sand. I also used Dimensional glaze for my pail and shovel. There is a bit of shine reflecting on them if you look closely :-)
I added some of that gorgeous Twine Mr Cricut Crazy has on his site for sale, and I found a little starfish charm to add a bit of a sea theme!
I actually used paper from K & Company's pad called Sweet Nectar and cut it up to use what I wanted! It has a neat die cut bottom where you could simply score it fold it and make an A2 card, but I love my 5.5x5.5 cards which is what I created here.

CMC : Favorite Copic Technique Challenge

Hi Everyone:-)
I had the wrong post for this challenge go up haha I uploaded my pictures to this one but no wiring so I'm editing the rest in:-)This weeks challenge at Color Me Creative is To use your favorite Copic Marker Technique! The Challenge will run until July 22
We want to see you use your favorite Copic technique on your images! You can do more then one, there are many:-) Some of our favorites are: feathering, coloring embellishments, airbrushing, folds, hair colors, colorless blender...And the list goes on, Just make sure you put down which Technique you used.
Our wonderful sponsor for this time is Tiffany Doodles
I used Tiffany Doodles Poppy Oval HERE. What I did was use the oval framed one and just cut off the outer oval part and left the inner oval line and then used my scalloped nests to layer it.
I used The Flicking and blending Technique on my card, Starting with the darkest of the RV colors that I used from the center and worked my way out and basically it blended out to the outer edge, I should have flicked fro the outer edge to blend but I wanted it to look lighter on the edge, This picture also can look nice with the fold technique with the way the flower petals are arranged!
Don't forget Suzanne has a few classes coming up on the road if you would like to see her in person and learn new exciting things with Copics . To Find out more go HERE

Supplies used:
Copic : RV14, RV13, RV02, YG21, YG23, YG25

Michele's turn to Distress- sundays with crissy

Happy Sunday Everyone:-)
This months challenge at Sundays With Crissy is all about "distressing" so get the inks, distressed tools, nail files, sandpaper or whatever you like to distress with, and show us your creations!
Also we are currently having a DT call which Crissy has posted at the top of the challenge blog HERE, So don't forget to read the details and join in the fun:-) Don't forget t also check back at Sundays with Crissy often as every day or so another fellow DT member has her turn at showcasing

I picked a little older digi of Crissy's because I just think this Party Snail is the cutest thing ever! He can be found at Whimsy stamps. I Distressed the edge of the image with Tim Holtz, Shabby Shutters ink and the sentiment too with Fired Brick distress ink! I also did a tiny bit of distressing with my distressed tool:-) I'll admit I like to use the distressed tool a tiny bit but not a lot, so my distressing is more adding the ink to the edges of the paper, hehe you can see it a bit more on the closeup of the sentiment, and I added a hint of distress stickles to the punched flower border in the center of the flower.
I used the new SU border punch that is in the new 2011/2012 catalog, I colored with Copic markers, added a tiny bit of stickles to the snail, and distress stickles to the ribbon on present.
Supplies used:
Copic marker colors: R22,R24, BG01, BG000, BG02, Y13, Y15, YG21, YG23, YG25, W00, W3,C0
Card stock: Stampin up New In Color: Lucky Limeade
Image paper: The Paper Temptress :Cryogen White#89
DP: from Stampin Up called Play Date
